To complete our team, we are looking for a:
Head of Inclusion
Reports to: The Director General
Work percentage: full time
Main responsibilities:
The Head of Inclusion oversees the International School of Geneva's commitment to inclusion by focussing on the following core elements to ensure that student support, all systems and processes, development, communications and recruitment reflect article 4.4 of our Charter:
1. Ecolint's Scholarship Programme
2. I-DEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Anti-Discrimination)
3. Bilingualism and pluriliteracies
4. Learning Support, Extended Support and Language Support
The Scholarship Coordinator and I-DEA Lead will report directly to the Head of Inclusion whereas Learning Support, Student and Language Support and Extended Support Services, while reporting to their various campuses, will meet regularly with the Head of Inclusion to agree on Foundation strategies and synergies.


Profile:

  • Fluent French and English speaker
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to relate well at all levels
  • High level of integrity
  • Excellent team player
  • Good communicator – listening, verbal and written skills
  • Able to show initiative, be proactive, plan, take responsibility and develop systems while assuring compliance with agreed procedures
  • Results and solution focused
  • A consultative mindset and willingness to listen and to seek consensus where possible

Qualifications:

  • Degree in education or teaching degree, a degree with some specialisation in the field is preferred
  • Senior level leadership experience, earned in an international education environment, or in a variety of complex educational contexts
  • Experience in public speaking
