With our growth in West Africa, we are looking for a Document Controller who will be responsible for the timely, accurate and efficient management and preparation of documents for a project in Dakar, Senegal.

Responsibilities

  • Control the numbering, sorting, filling, storing and retrieval of both electronical and hard copy documents produced throughout the project
  • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage in accordance with Archetype procedure
  • To liaise and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team
  • Maintain a document register including all incoming and outgoing correspondence, requests for information, minutes of meeting, drawings updated list and status for all registered document
  • Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documentation
  • Report weekly to the Project Manager on the status of all documentation

Competencies

  • Degree qualified in Information Management or Business Administration.
  • Strong IT skills in MS office including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Advanced attention to detail, particularly in respect to document referencing and filing.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear reports.
  • Highly organised
  • Fluency in English & French is a pre-requisite for this position
