The Role

  • Taptap Send is seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Partner Operations team and help us grow our business across the US, Canada and Europe.
  • In this role, you will report into Alice, the Payment Operations Manager, and touch all aspects of Taptap Send’s operations, working directly with our teams and partners across the world.
  • You’ll own key operational tasks, including tracking and troubleshooting service performance and funding our accounts in our payout countries across multiple currencies.
  • You’ll form part of the glue between all the functions of the company and work to maintain a high standard of performance!
  • You’ll work closely with the rest of the Partner Operations team and draw upon phenomenal relationship and project management skills to collaborate with the wider teams that span the globe (London, Abidjan, Lagos, Nairobi, and New York to name a few places), ensuring that Taptap Send is effectively supported in its growth and customer ambitions! There is plenty of room for professional progression and personal growth within our friendly and ever-growing Taptap community.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Monitoring performance levels on our payment corridors and managing outages to improve customer experience

  • Escalating issues with our partners all over the world to ensure high levels of service

  • Proactively managing daily funding operations to ensure our accounts are funded each day and payments can be processed seamlessly

  • Working closely with partners to ensure that funding timelines are being delivered on

  • Troubleshooting to find the root cause of payment issues and working with internal and external partners to resolve

  • Providing cover for up to 50% of weekends, with time off in lieu

You :

  • Are passionate about our mission and eager to do what need to be done to achieve it

  • Are enthusiastic about learning about funding, solving unique problems, and optimizing processes

  • Enjoy challenges, are resourceful and think outside the box to find creative ways to tackle problems

  • Love working in teams and building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders

  • Don’t hesitate to place a call to promptly resolve issues or persevere to get a result

  • Have great organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities in a fast-pacedp environment where no two days are the same

  • Have proven analytical skills (Excel); SQL a plus

  • Are familiar with the partner countries we predominantly work with (considered a plus)

  • Are proficient in English, French considered a plus

  • Have at least 1-2 years’ experience ideally in a payments or operations role in a start-up

  • Have the right to work in preferred location preference
