Job Description

Are you up to the challenge ?

  • Use your strong questioning skills while contacting leads proactively to identify needs and follow-up requests

  • Caretake assigned customer accounts and collaborate with the sales stakeholders on renewals / new business

  • Support the Sales Directors on internal process to move opportunities from leads to contracts

  • Gather market intelligence to assist Sales Directors in generating new leads/opportunities

  • Answer calls from customers requesting pricing, availability and other information

  • Collaborate with across departments to find creative solutions to customer requests

  • Support the Sales Directors on pricing/quoting, work orders, credits, job cost sheets, and customer changes forms

  • Support sales team to maintain accurate SFDC data: accounts, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts

  • Ensure customer support is provided to the business when designated Sales Directors are away from the office

  • Act as the direct interface to our Tier I customers for managing capacity, billing and credits for Intelsat’s Occasional Use inventory

  • Responsible for consolidated customer contribution

  • Accountable for customer relations including customer satisfaction and loyalty

  • Accountable for developing the business relation and actively contributing to making customers successful

Can you drive these processes ?

  • Update Salesforce.com on daily basis. Maintain records of leads that come thru the system and convert to opportunities. Assist with the preparation of Sales presentations and reports.

You should definitely have :

  • At least 3 years of experience in a sales or sales related function

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

  • Strong people skills and ability to build relationships with customers and colleagues

  • Experience in SFDC

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with MS Office Suite

  • Excellent English language written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to create successful and creative presentations for both internal management and customers

  • Basic understanding of satellite communications or aptitude to learn these concepts

  • Good questioning and needs identification skills

  • Self-motivated attitude and initiative

  • Strong time management skills

  • Detail-Oriented

  • French and English speaking

  • Availability to travel (40%)

It would be nice if you had :

  • Proficiency in another language both written and oral

  • Experience in a global company

  • Experience working in a matrix environment.
