Role Purpose

  •  Management of the full business in Morocco with selected distributors and direct sales/promotion of Charentais melon.
  •  Create a Long-Term partnership with selected distributors / direct key accounts of Charentais melon to deliver sales growth / Key Account Management
  • Align and improve all internal resources / processes with strong focus on operational excellence to meet the customer needs.
  • Bring innovation and profitability to our customers and strengthen relationship with key influencers in the market

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Generate sales by developing and delivering key account plan by customer.
  •  Establish tactical plan based on the Commercial Operational Plan, priorities in close collaboration with all departments.
  •  Understand the key account business and market dynamic.
  •  Ensure a consistent customer experience from all Bayer departments (MD, credit, customer service, etc) leading to loyalty.
  •  Follow-up sales results, orders and shipments on a daily basis.
  •  Ensure all data are properly collected to drive variety advancement/drop recommendations and/or FAB's on NVI's and market extension.
  • Develop data based that would enable us to be the first choice in the eyes of the customer through SFDC platform.
  •  Credit management of the customer (assure in-time payments, collect default interests).
  • Handles quality complaints/claims.
  • Provide 0-36 months horizon forecast to secure proper seed production and allotment.
  •  Anticipate trends, analyse customer needs, competitors’ strategy and market opportunities
  •  Planned regular distributor visits
  •  Comply with laws, regulations and good business practices

Experiences, skills and Qualifications

  •  University degree preferably Agronomist with vegetables experience
  •  Good knowledge of the market and vegetables / seeds business
  •  Ability to build relationship and represent the company in a complex and broad geography, with focus on operational excellence
  • Analytical and strategic thinking
  •  Strong result orientation towards goals.
  •  Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal & organization skills.
  •  Quick learner, flexible and adaptable to new environments
  • Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point…)
  • Fluent in English, French and Arabic.
