Purpose of the Job
Alstom is redefining its organization, processes, hiring culture, as well as raising the bar towards operational talent acquisition operational excellence
You will become a valued member of a global talent acquisition team, working in very close proximity with the Country business and HR leadership to support the Talent Acquisition strategy and execute it
In your role you will be expected to advocate about the Alstom 2025 strategy as well as the newly developed Talent Acquisition strategy to create a unique recruiting experience that delivers outstanding talent solutions to meet business needs
You will be responsible for the performance of our recruiting activity across the country(ies) in scope
Main responsibilities
TA Transformation leadership
As a key member of the Global Talent Acquisition team help to implement /build Alstom’s new global talent acquisition strategy and help transform talent acquisition operational performance.
Influence stakeholders to drive improvements on process, people and behaviours at all levels for a high performing recruiting function in your Country/Hub organization
TA Operational leadership
Partner with Alstom HR/Business leadership to identify Alstom annual recruitment needs in terms of volume, functions and countries
Define and deploy the Country talent acquisition strategy with the right channel mix (Early Careers, Referrals, Make/Buy/Borrow) in line with the Regional talent acquisition strategy and to best support business needs
Accountable for defining the Talent Acquisition budget including people resources, licences, agency, tools
Ensure the proper workload allocation across teams and anticipate needs
Animate, develop and challenge recruiters with a balance between caring and raising the bar attitude
Accountable to the HR & Business leadership ensuring the quality, cost and delivery hiring performance for all full time, fixed term, contract, early career (interns, apprentices, fresh graduates)
Help build a modern day hiring culture where business leaders are genuine ambassadors towards external talent
Support the digital roadmap orientation and effective tool adoption strategies
Senior business & HR stakeholder management and routinely involved in country business meetings to represent talent acquisition
Drive continuous process improvement measures
Employer branding
Help drive employer branding awareness within the Country and with the support of the EB lead and ensure key target groups are clearly identified and recruitment marketing campaigns effectively delivered
Performance objectives
Successful implementation of the talent acquisition transformation agenda in the Country
Effective delivery of the annual talent acquisition plan
Feedback from business leaders and HR leaders of the Country/Regional organization
Experiences
Experienced talent acquisition professional gained across international markets, culturally sensitive
Result and operational experience oriented
Ability to be recognized as a trusted advisor close to business stakeholders and solution oriented
Systematic thinker, able to identify priorities and think clearly
Strong stakeholder management experience, able to listen and understand issue.
Knowledgeable about talent market dynamics across multiple markets
