The Position

  • Use your love of travel – and put it to work
  • As a Sales Consultant with Intrepid you’ll do just that, by delivering amazing travel experiences to our customers! In this position, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end selling, consultation, and booking of tailored trips across multiple markets, but focusing on our French market predominantly.
  • In this varied position, you will have the opportunity to work on product development, and itinerary building and deliver a high level of customer service at every opportunity.
  • You will be given a chance to work working collaboratively with other teams to ensure that our customer's experiences are the BEST travel experiences ever, and always safe, seamless and to the standards agreed upon during the sales process.

 Tasks : 

  • No two days are the same but some of the tasks you’ll take the lead on are:
  • Fielding sales calls and emails, product development, itinerary building, trip documentation, and customer service

  • Provide support to the Business Development Manager in relation to internal Intrepid or external clients for product development and marketing purposes.

  • Customer Service, you’ll liaise between Intrepid and non-Intrepid partners in the start to finish process of the development of private groups and FIT trips

  • Building on your product development knowledge, identify gaps in product offering and increase product range

  • Support BDM on developing new itineraries and/or modifying and organizing the existing ones

What you will bring with you :

  • Some of the experience you’ll bring with you is :
  • Excellent level of written and spoken English & French

  • Extensive Travel knowledge of destinations and the tourism industry

  • Experience in sales, quoting and product development (travel itineraries)

  • Attention to detail and works well with numbers

  • Advanced level of Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • You will have solid organizational skills with high attention to detail, you’ll be proactive in the development and improvement of projects and planning of innovative solutions while remaining high customer-focused in every approach. You're unafraid.
  • You zig when others zag and challenge the familiar and to always live with integrity.
