Job Purpose: Mission

Under the supervision of the Business Strategy Manager, the Business Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role and participates in the management of the company's activities based on the study of numerical data. He defines analysis and decision-making tools: sales forecasts and targets, dashboards and performance indicators, economic and market analysis, benchmarks, performance monitoring and support for sales teams. He provides a strategic analysis of the data and draws up recommendations and action plans.

Key Responsibilities, Deliverables and Activities

With a view to achieving the development objectives defined by the General Management, the Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for:

Analysis of business results, implementation of monitoring and forecasting tools

  • Define, in conjunction with the product managers, key performance indicators (KPIs) that will be used to measure the achievement of commercial, credit and customer experience objectives, and ensure the availability of products placed on the market when developing these indicators;

  • Design sales performance monitoring dashboards and reporting tools for sales, credit and customer experience actors;

  • Ensure that they are properly appropriated by the various users;

  • Analyze databases (calculation of activity performance / study of turnover by customer, by product, by region, by salesperson, by sales channels);

  • Prepare activity reports for the sales department, general management, distributors;

  • Study the operational impacts of the policies deployed by the company to optimize its commercial performance (for example, measure the effects of offline or on-line advertising campaigns);

  • Measure the return on investment (ROI) of these policies from a business and financial perspective;

  • Make recommendations on incentives and variable compensation for sales reps.

Market research, monitoring and strategic recommendations

  • To study from a quantitative and sometimes qualitative angle the trends and practices of consumption specific to a sector or a field of activity;

  • Conduct quantitative and/or qualitative investigations to better understand customer expectations in a given segment, and to calculate market sizes;

  • Analyze the growth prospects of a market and make sales forecasts;

  • Monitor regulations that may impact a market;

  • Analyze the company's business environment, monitor the competition and its results;

  • Synthesize, in the form of reports, the results of these analyses and know how to communicate them to various stakeholders in the company;

  • Based on these results, develop recommendations for strategic and operational marketing or sales management (optimization of processes and points of sale, sales objectives);

  • Benchmarks taking into account feedback from previous actions taken by the company to develop its commercial performance.

  • Manage system database with respect to Customer Journey strategies (Calling Scripts, SMS Scripts, SMS Broadcast frequency etc.) 

Control and management of expenses

  • Participate in monthly budget closes and ensure their history;

  • Ensure budgetary control of cost centers and determine possible levers of action to increase profitability (e.g. optimize tools and processes).

Optimization of analysis tools

  • Participate in the optimization of predictive analysis tools (commercial forecasts: sales volume and future turnover, etc.).

Required Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics/Planning, Economics or any equivalent field desirable; 

  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar position desirable;

  • Good knowledge of methods and tools for programming, extracting and processing statistical data; 

  • Know how to manage the quantity, diversity, flow of data, mastery of deduplication, segmentation and modeling practices;

  • Proficiency in reporting tools (Tableau software, Server Reporting Services);

  • Practice with Salesforce (software used for customer relationship management) or other CRM tools;

  • Knowledge of spatial modeling tools and methods for the possible implementation of geomarketing analyses;

  • Managing multiple tasks and priorities; 

  • Time management and adherence to deadlines for each task;

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;

  • Good knowledge of the markets;

  • Thoroughness, dynamism, curiosity, diplomacy and sense of anticipation;

  • Strong Interpersonal and organizational skills; 

  • Strength of proposal and ability to communicate; 

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint, SQL and Table);

  • Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data;

  • Power of persuasion and influence.
