Mitrelli Group is currently looking for a knowledgeable Compliance Officer to join its location in Ivory Coast. Supporting the Chief Compliance Officer and the Compliance team in Switzerland, you will work on day-to-day compliance matters and activities (both locally in Ivory Coast as well as global activities).

  • You will further work on refining and driving forward existing Compliance procedures and standards, supporting and executing Compliance audits/reviews and by this fact, play a key role in further developing the Compliance function of Mitrelli Group.

Requirements :
Your Responsibilities


  • Due diligence and screening of business partners and third parties (e.g., counterparties, vendors, suppliers).

  • Support in updating and refining the compliance framework (maintain, develop and implement directives, standards and processes, training, monitoring, controls etc.).

  • Conducting maturity reviews and Compliance audits in different locations of Mitrelli Group.

  • Support the Chief Compliance Officer in Compliance audits / reviews of design and effectiveness of implemented Compliance processes in Ivory coast and other locations of Mitrelli Group.

  • Liaise and work with other functions (e.g., business functions, legal, finance).

  • Participate and support in projects.

Your Expertise

  • A University degree in Law or a comparable education in Compliance.

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a Compliance function, preferably in the financial services industry or in a company with international business activities.

  • Strong knowledge of standard Compliance topics (such as Anti Bribery & Corruption, Sanctions & Embargoes, Third Party Due Diligence, etc.).

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French. Portuguese would be an advantage.

  • Commercial awareness, solution focused.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills as well as a high level of flexibility and adaptability to changes.

  • Ability to work in a multi-tasking and multicultural environment.

  • Capacity to work under pressure and still deliver on quality and on time.

  • Strong Computer Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
